Before you start, gather:
1.Handlebar mount (with correct bar diameter clamp – usually 0.75″ – 1.25″ / 19-32mm)
2.Hex keys (Allen wrenches) – usually 3mm, 4mm, or 5mm
3.Rubber shims (often included for thinner bars)
4.Vibration damper (highly recommended – see Section 6)
5.Phone case with secure attachment (or universal X-grip)
6.Tether strap (optional but strongly recommended)
Pro tip: If your mount comes with a rubber pad inside the clamp, use it. It protects your handlebar finish and prevents slipping.
Step 1: Choose the mounting position
Center of handlebar – Best balance, but may interfere with instrument cluster.
Left or right side – Near grip, but ensure it does not block controls (turn signals, clutch/brake lever).
Avoid – Areas with cables (throttle, brake lines) that move when you turn.
Step 2: Clean the handlebar area
Wipe the bar with a dry cloth to remove dirt or grease.
Do not use oil-based cleaners – they can cause clamp slippage.
Step 3: Open the clamp
Loosen the two screws on the clamp until the gap is wide enough to fit over the handlebar.
Keep the rubber lining inside the clamp.
Step 4: Place the mount on the bar
Slide the clamp over the chosen spot.
If your handlebar is very thin (< 0.75″ / 19mm), use the included rubber shim to fill the gap.
Step 5: Tighten screws evenly
Hand-tighten both screws until the clamp just touches the bar.

Slide the phone cradle onto the ball and tighten the locking nut.

Step 7: Insert the phone and adjust
Place your phone into the cradle or X-grip.
